Dear First Grade Dual Language Students and Families of Classes 1-202 and 1-203,

Welcome to an exciting new school year! I hope this letter finds you well and eager to embark on this journey of learning and discovery in first grade.

My name is Ms. Berthel and I am thrilled to be your teacher this year. We have an amazing adventure ahead of us, filled with new friends, new challenges, and plenty of opportunities to grow and succeed.

In our classroom, we will work together as a team to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where everyone feels valued and respected. We will explore a variety of subjects, from math and science to reading and writing, and discover the wonders of the world around us.

I believe that each of you has unique talents and strengths, and I am committed to helping you reach your full potential. Whether you're a math whiz, a budding artist, or a future scientist, there is something special about you that makes our classroom community richer and more vibrant.

As we begin this journey together, I encourage you to approach each day with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to take risks. Remember that it's okay to make mistakes – they are an essential part of the learning process. And most importantly, always remember to be kind to one another and to yourselves.
